We all know that when it comes to paying bills, the ability to pay them online has radically improved the ease and convenience of paying bills.
You can choose not to use that option for several reasons, but it’s good to know that you have an option that suits your needs.
If you have a Wells Fargo credit card, you may be wondering what payment options are available to you. At Wells Fargo, there are several options for paying bills online to give you maximum versatility and options. Let’s take a look at the options available to you.
Online Wells Fargo Credit Card Payment
The easiest option is to simply pay your Wells Fargo credit card bill online.
Simply log on to www.wellsfargo.com and go to the “Bank Transfer & Payment” tab in the Banking/Credit Cards subsection of the “Personal” section of the site.
The “Transfer and Pay” option for small businesses can be found in the “Small Business” section in the “Products and Services” subsection.
You can quickly register for online bill payment here. Your Wells Fargo credit card details are already there once your credentials are verified. You can pay your bill monthly or set up an automatic payment option. Choose the payment date and the payment amount.
You will receive a payment confirmation on the screen and an email confirming that your payment has been made.
You can also choose to make a payment through the Wells Fargo mobile phone app on your smartphone. Simply install it on your mobile device, log in and follow the instructions in the Pay Bill section to make your payment.

Wells Fargo Credit Card Payment by Mail
If you prefer the traditional method of payment, simply fill in the required fields on the pay stub and attach a check for the amount of your payment, put it in a sealed envelope and mail it.
Payments may be sent to “Wells Fargo Card Services, P.O. Box 51193, Los Angeles, CA 90051-5493″. If you are sending it by express mail, please send it to “Lockbox Services 51193, Attn: WF Consumer Credit Card, 3440 Flair Drive, El Monte, CA 91731”.
Be sure to check the due date on the invoice and have a multi-day head start. A payment that comes in after the due date will incur a “late” fee of $37 (see Wells Fargo Platinum Card Terms). Payment may also be returned for insufficient funds, which will be subject to a $37 returned check fee (along with the late payment fee).
It’s a good idea to send your payment seven to ten days before the due date to make sure it arrives on time.
Make Your Credit Card Payment By Phone
To save on postage and the hassle of going to the post office or even your letterbox, you can choose to pay the bill over the phone. Simply call 800-869-3557 and you will be asked for your bank account information (routing number, account number, etc.) to complete your payment.
Automatically Recurring Payments
If the payment you make every month is always the same, or if you just want to cancel your balance on a monthly basis, you can request a sign-up form when you call to add this to a recurring payment option. You can then have the chosen amount automatically debited each month.
Payments are always automatically debited on the due date on the statement and that date cannot be changed. You may choose to change your recurring amount by contacting Customer Service at 877-805-7744. Please allow 30 to 60 days for the change to take effect.
Any payment made before midnight will count as booked on that day. You must ensure that the funds for automatic payments are sufficient at the time the payment is made.
Call Customer Service at 1-877-805-7744 to request the enrollment form
If you prefer, you can go to the nearest Wells Fargo branch and pay cash with a Wells Fargo credit card using one of the cashiers. However, you cannot make such a payment via the ATM.
